While reading Suspectsi didn't know what to except. This book was such a well written story I love the mystery reading this book I felt I was living it too 5 star read The only thing I will mention, which isn’t really a “dislike”, is that I can’t quite figure out why she used the title “Suspects.” I can’t tell you more because I don’t do spoilers here. I guess I can possibly see a reason, but seriously, having read the book and now written this entire review, I’m still trying to see why Danielle thought it was the best title. Suspects by Danielle Steel – Read, ReRead, or Reconsider I personally can never seem to get enough of Danielle Steel’s books. This one is another solid read that I wouldn’t want to miss. I highly recommend it. And, if you love a beautiful wedding as much as I do, then don’t miss all the amazing weddings in The Wedding Planner which I just reviewed.

As is not unusual for Danielle Steel, she creates female characters who are strong women who handle crises in their lives with grace and dignity. And that was certainly the case with Theodora Morgan. Although she had some heartbreaking tragedies in her life, she remained brave and strong and found a reason to continue living. You’ll have to be the judge of that, but hopefully my review will help you decide whether or not you want to read this book.But she is haunted by a tragic incident that happened a year ago that took the lives of her husband and son. Theodora "Theo" Morgan is a highly sought-after retail designer. She built her mega prosperous financial empire selling her unique clothing and accessories online. Most Danielle Steel fans can’t wait for new books to come out. Despite the fact that she is now writing multiple books each year, I feel like the new ones are still highly anticipated. That’s certainly the case for me! This is a riveting story that is all at once sad, thrilling, and hopeful. The romance between Theo and Mike is well done, and the CIA thriller aspect of this novel is compelling. The main characters instantly draw the reader in and the book is filled with intrigue.

Putting that aside, the protagonists shouldn't have met but forces outside of their control brought them together. To label their introduction as a meet-cute, would dismiss the danger Theo faced. Posing as a lawyer, buying his sister a luxury purse, Mike crashed the pop-up party to observe the situation. This is a romantic thriller. I loved the mix of suspense and romance in this book and the third person view point. When there's a new Danielle Steel book out, I feel compelled to read it. Suspects is her latest. It's a short book that offers no surprises - but that's not why you read Danielle Steel. Her books are little treats that can be gobbled down in a sitting or two and offer an enjoyable escape. A little glitz and glamour are always fun when there's some espionage added. Not her best but enjoyable, nevertheless. This ARC was provided to me via Kindle, Random House Publishing Group- Ballantine and by #NetGalley. Opinions expressed are completely my own. I haven't read a Danielle Steel book in years and when I saw this one available to read early, I jumped at the chance. I thoroughly enjoyed Suspects and was pleasantly surprised at the suspenseful story of the book. The book centers around Theo Morgan, a very well known retail fashion designer. She sets up pop-up shops all over and sells the most sought after fashion designs. She is extremely successful, but has to overcome a terrible tragedy. One year ago as the book starts, Theo's husband and 13 year old son were kidnapped. There was a ransom demand that Theo could easily have paid, but the authorities wanted more time to try to solve the case. It ended in tragedy with the kidnappers killing her husband and son. Theo was and still is devastated as the book begins. She's basically been a hermit for an entire year, not feeling confident enough to go out. She's been running her business remotely and now she's also running her husband's business. She lives in Paris, but travels to New York, Los Angeles, Texas, etc setting up her pop-up shops for short periods. Don’t miss Suspects by Danielle Steel, her latest book to be published this year. If you’re your a fan of Danielle’s books, you won’t want to miss this one.Suspects by Danielle Steel is one of those rare stories that does everything well, romance, drama, and suspense with a touch of espionage. Theo Morgan, fashion royalty is still reeling from the untimely murder of her husband and son a year ago. The case has since gone cold when suddenly she crosses paths with Pierre, a smarmy guy in my opinion and he is being watched by the CIA. When Senior supervising CIA operative Mike Andrews enters Theo's life things become sweeter for Theo, and she begins to experience life once again. This is not without its share of drama and suspense, no one can weave such a wonderful tale of love and intrigue as Danielle Steel.
