About this deal

Devastator is made up of 52,632 geometric pieces and 11,716,127 polygons. The total length of all the pieces is 13.84 miles. [8] Unlike regular Power Bots, and unlike other portrayals of the character in general, Devastator features a transformation! It consists of putting his arms up and laying him flat on his stomach, which lets him roll around using the wheels on his limbs. Considering it needs to be fully integrated into a Voyager-sized figure, I think the head is fantastic, and the paint job is superb.

Edit: Nevermind, Scavenger wasn't misassembled. I just tried attaching the struts while they were behind him instead of in front of him. The gift set first saw release in Thailand without any announcement from Hasbro, with it later being officially revealed on the October 16th Fan First Friday. Not unlike Bonecrusher in the first movie, Revenge of the Fallen sees Mixmaster (and indeed, quite a lot of other Decepticons) emits some heavily processed, garbled Cybertronian noise that desire has occasionally led fans to misinterpret as real dialogue. The difference is that the DVD subtitles actually interpret the roar Mixmaster lets out before transforming to battle mode as the sentence fragment "Listen up..." Unlike Bonecrusher, no voice actor is listed in the end credits. I maintain my claim that this is the most ambitious project HasTak have done. Please remember: MPs are a completely different ball game altogether than retail. the left arm feels noticeably heavier to me than the right. The connecting post that everybody is worried about does carry a heavy load, a bit unbalanced no less, but it looks to be made of sturdy ABS so I'm not too concerned. Guess time will tell. The legs might be different in weight in the end,but the upper body weighs so much more it feels like that's negligible.ICONIC MODES: 8 figures combine to form the Devastator figure in 11 steps. Figures also convert between robot and construction vehicle modes. Perfect for fans looking for a more advanced converting figure. By nature of the character design, the combiner is highly asymmetrical, with one arm made of two Deluxe figures and one arm of one Voyager, which may lead to imbalance/weight distribution issue. And the two legs, although of similar size and being in the same size class, are massively different in design, so the individual weight and even center of gravity might need to be carefully planned out. With compound hip and ankle joints and fixed-angle "knees", along with complex shoulder and bicep assemblies, this Devastator has far greater flexibility than any previous version, and as such can stand more erect than is typical for the character. This allows a pose similar to early concept art, and makes him easily the largest Studio Series figure to date. STUDIO SERIES LEADER CLASS: Leader Class figures are 8.5-inch collectible action figures inspired by iconic movie scenes and designed with specs and details to reflect the Transformers movie universe. All that rambling above, is basically me trying to say what I said when HasTak first reveal this project, that imho SS Devastator is the single most ambitious project(combiner or otherwise) they've ever done.

Thanks to PrimeVsPrime on Youtube, we can share for you a nice set of images of the impressive Transformers Studio Series Devastator for your viewing pleasure. According to Ben Procter's concept art, Mixmaster originally had a friendly face based on that of actor Brendan Gleeson... and was apparently going to be an Autobot. The early head design was actually put to use in the Generation 1 Mixmaster-themed redeco store exclusive, as well as the Legends Mixmaster.Whether he's formed from six, seven, eight, or even nine Constructicons, Devastator is a giant among giants. He is in fact so huge that his body simply cannot support itself when carrying his weight upright, forcing him to lumber on all fours.

In the Pyramid Desert Battle scene from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, the desert sands quake as the Constructicons combine to form Devastator. This mold was also used to make Bonecrusher for the Japanese-exclusive Generation 1-colored Devastator set.

While Mixmaster is still brilliant, all the toxins he's worked on have rotted his own circuits and made him less and less careful with the chemicals he uses. RPM Mixmaster

Announced to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Revenge of the Fallen, the holy grail known as Studio Series Devastator consists of eight (yes, eight) Constructicons that combine into one mechanical giant. While meant to celebrate the film's tenth anniversary, some members were released in 2020.

Pressing down the Decepticon shield on his crotch (!) spins the vortex in his chest, lights up his eyes and makes him utter one of many Welker-recorded phrases, including "Prepare for extermination!", "Crush Autobots!" and "I am Devastator!" Pressing on the crane of his excavator arm makes a cannon blast sound effect, while pressing the cab of his loader arm turns the scoop into claws. INCH SCALE CONSTRUCTICON OVERLOAD: Figure is highly articulated, featuring vivid, movie-inspired deco, and includes 1 detailed accessory.
