He also appears in Bottled Up!, Rain, Rain, Go Away, A Big Giant Problem!, Witchy Worries, and Tooth or Consequences!. Actor Ryan Reynolds made a playful nod to the now free-to-use Winnie the Pooh in a Mint Mobile commercial. In the advertisement, Reynolds reads a children’s book about “Winnie the Screwed,” a bear with a costly phone bill.

However, after the events of the film, he seems to have become more polite and humble. This is most noticeable in his later appearances. Gustav makes a guest appearance in the Adventures of the Gummi Bears episode " Close Encounters of the Gummi Kind", albeit as a woodsman at regular human size.
