I then decided to read the book. To be honest, as it went on, I got a little less excited as the book went on. I feel like the plot wasn’t really developed as well as what it could have been. Plus, it just felt so so rushed. Why could a bigger novel or longer chapter book been made?

Then there's the main issue with this book, which is the blatant and outrageous racism. There is a character named Aziz who owns a mechanical-type shop, where Michael goes to get sciency supplies for his father. Aziz is first described in the story as a "high-strung Indian", who Michael notes looks "like a shaman". This sounds vaguely offensive, but it gets worse later in the book when Michael goes to Aziz's shop again.
