About this deal

You can obtain PDF manuals for the fx-9750GII, and these manuals will also cover the fx-9860GII/fx-9860GII-SD, with small changes as noted in those manuals. From the list screen, you can press the “F2” button (the tab on the screen shows CALC, so this takes you to the calculations options). Assuming it was allowed in an A-level Maths exam; in many instances, its extra facilities wouldn't compensate for it being slower to use. Its raison d'etre is to get you through the exam with flying colours, and in this respect, it excels. I would like to ask you if it would be possible to create parametric matrices on the Casio fx-9750GII graphing calculator, that is, to have matrices whose elements are a function of parameters and always have the results with the parameters.

The system is definitely still usable, I’m just a little disappointed that Casio didn’t think this aspect through a little better. Virtually every advanced statistical function is built-in, including Chi-Squared GOF, t- tests (both 1- and 2-sample), ANOVA and all the basic functions as well.xxxx or later (the xxx's are numbers which don't matter for this discussion) then your calculator has a SH4 CPU. Once you enter your functions and create your table you can see up to three functions at a time without scrolling. Most Casio calculators are pretty straightforward and easy to use, and the fx-9750GII is no exception. Even if you haven’t used a Casio calculator before, or even a graphing calculator before, the fx-9750GII shouldn’t be too hard to learn.

From any screen, you can press the [MENU] button and be taken the main menu where you can run any of the 14 main apps on the calculator. The fx9750gii was launched over 11 years ago, and almost from 'day 1' owners have complained about the lack of a natural display as standard, and have resorted to upgrading the operating to the fx9860gii, by ROM flashing. You can only see 6 command options at a time (5 if the option to scroll is taking up one of those slots). The newer model uses a SH4a CPU, has a white case shell, with a deep blue keyboard surround, and is informally known as the fx-9750GII-2. While you're trying to figure out how to do a t-test, or an hypothesis testing on a binomial distribution, the fx9750gii owner has got the answer and is on their way to the next question!

The 2009 release of the the 9750GII introduced USB, making it even easier to upgrade your calculator’s operating system and upload apps. It doesn’t have a computer algebra system like some of the most expensive graphing calculators (like the TI-Nspire CX CAS, or the HP Prime). The Casio fx-9750GII has one of the most capable programming interfaces of most graphing calculators. Not the current solar powered model but excellent value for money and came complete with instructions and Casio software DVD ROM.
