About this deal

This mains powered electric blower vac blows leaves, grass and light hedge clippings, vacuums them up and shreds them into a large holding bag. Every time I use the Flymo Garden Vac 2200w Turbo leaf blower I hope it's going to work better than it does. Once properly attached, the vacuum works well and I particularly like the shredder blade which rotates at high speed, making light work of the contents. Also, the ‘jet vacuum function’ for blasting wet leaves and loosening them before sucking them up does sometimes just blast them away before you can vacuum them into the bag.

Finally, I concluded that the little blade that you clip inside the unit which, like a conventional flymo (it comes with 2 blades one being a spare), was of no use because the Wysteria petals were already small. If you find that your Flymo lawnmower is creating radio interference a faulty capacitor can be the cause behind it. One other point though, I cannot believe how few shredder lines are supplied with the product or the exorbitant cost of the spares. In general, it's important to regularly maintain and service your Garden Vac to prevent issues from occurring. The Easi Wheel expensive option is essential, unless you have the muscles of the Govenor of California.I recently bought the Flymo 2700 garden vac, primarily for vacuuming lawn clippings from around our pool. I looked at the more modern versions of this leaf and garden blower and vac but decided to go for the 4 in one 270w version as it had served me so well for many years amd bacause the leaf shredding function is optionsl and not a built in permanent function. Inspect the motor and internal components: If the motor brushes are in good condition, you may need to inspect the motor and other internal components for damage or wear.

I then found that the air being discharged from the top of the machine (it has to expel somewhere), was blowing away what I was trying to suck up meaning I had to be extremely precise in the path (and angle) I was trying to vacuum. So, if you are looking for essentially a garden vacuum to pick up and shred leaves efficiently, without fuss, and a blowing option when it is needed, this is a good choice. With a collection capacity of 45 litres and a shredding ratio of 16:1, leaves are no task for this blower vac. The GardenVac worked on a “venturi air mover” principle, whereas the Sirocco just uses a fast axial fan to move the air. Bosch Home and Garden Electric Leaf Blower and Vacuum UniversalGardenTidy 3000 (3000 W, collection bag 50 l,variable speed, for blowing, vacuuming shredding leaves, Weight: 4.

The nozzle has a wide opening and I have had no problem with any gravel being picked up from the drive, not that that would be a problem as there is no visible grille or inlet to the motor inside the machine so no damage would ensue. If you have the serial number available then please select it from the list below to ensure you get the right part first time.
