A small batch Irish wheat vodka, distilled in County Fermanagh from carefully sourced Irish wheat, giving a creamy, smooth character of spirit with notes of black pepper, orange zest, beeswax and vanilla sweetness on the finish. Boatyard has produced a new world vodka with a point of difference - an unfiltered 100% Irish grain vodka that couldn’t be replicated anywhere else, by anyone else on the planet. TASTING NOTES - Boatyard vodka is a creamy smooth vodka, exuding notes of black pepper, orange zest and beeswax with a subtle vanilla sweetness on the finish. Vodka wouldn't be my usual choice, and this definitely isn't for Smirnoff drinkers or for mixing with cheap sugary mixers. Their signature gin botanical, Sweet Gale, is foraged from the family bog and the wheat used for their vodka can be traced from the bottle back to the very field it came from.
