The materials are mainly plastic, but it’s not wobbly or thin so the build quality gives a decent impression. We feel that Bosch could have programmed the robot to understand that when it gets power from the charging dock, this means it has reached the dock, which would have fixed this annoying problem. We assess how good robot mowers are at cutting grass on multiple test lawns of different types over a period of four weeks.

Of the two, the Robomow is the better-featured in these areas, covering 1,500m sq to the Bosch's 700m sq and mowing a 28cm-wide area, compared to 19cm for the Bosch.You will be able to use your robot lawn mower independently, without the need of constant support from a technician, and ask for assistance even in case of small issues. In case of compact and dry ground, moist it and wait for the next day to use the machine, when the ground will be softer. Running a robot mower every day that makes a racket won't make you very popular with your neighbours.

The Indego M+ 700 is for you, if you want a lawn that looks after itself and is always in great condition. We were impressed with the Bosch Indego M+ 700 when we tested it in 2020, but it was let down by its performance on slopes.The Bosch Indego can work autonomously on three different gardens with a combined area of up to 700 m², thanks to the Logicut feature.
