Our students earn qualifications that conform to all HSE and PUWER regulations and graduates receive a Skills ID card that can be renewed and updated as they gain additional skills and qualifications. They also enjoy the confidence and assurance that they earned their LANTRA qualification with Land Rover. We use the latest Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles and are able to train in other manufacturer’s vehicles if required. Land Rover Experience provides bespoke training for handling trailers of any kind. The course covers the legalities of trailer handling, loading, towing, emergency stops and stability on the move. You can wear walking shoes for lighter trekking and hiking where the ground is likely to be less sharp or uneven. Landrover walking shoes are also excellent for walks in the hotter weather as they're designed to keep your feet cool but protected all along the trail. With instructors trained in-house to our exacting standards, our network of Land Rover Experience Centres offer a unique opportunity to learn with the best in the business. Our experienced teams deliver intensive, accredited training courses for drivers of any level.Firstly, we have a great selection of brands that are well-known for their quality and excellence on the walking scene and these include Landrover, Graceland and Cortina. Prefer a high top walking boot? We've got plenty of varieties for you and cover men, women and children so you can kit out the whole family for your next big walk (or little walk, we're not judging and every little walk makes a difference). Walking shoes or walking boots? This course covers on-road and off-road principles of vehicle recovery. Learn how to practically apply a wide range of rope and strap techniques for self and third party vehicle recovery. As the terrain becomes more demanding and the course progresses, participants' understanding of the vehicle's capabilities and their confidence increases. Practical recovery techniques are also taught using a range of techniques in true-to-life situations. Organisations using Land Rover-approved experts and world-class training facilities can be assured that their people are receiving professional training to the highest standards, meeting all certification requirements. This course is recommended for drivers who operate on severe terrain in the UK or overseas. It is particularly suitable for emergency services personnel, utilities and operators who may be required to operate off-road. As the terrain becomes more demanding and the course progresses, participants’ understanding of the vehicle’s capabilities and their confidence increases. Practical recovery techniques are also taught using a range of techniques in true-to-life situations. Figures are shown as a range under WLTP testing measures. The lowest figures refer to the most economical/lightest set of options. The highest figures refer to the least economical/heaviest set of options.
