All of the backstory Harry tells Eggsy in the movie, about the Kingsman being a separate organization that operates apart from the government, is a lot more complicated than the explanation we get in the book.

The characterisation was completely lazy: Uncle Jack WAS James Bond, Gary was pitiful and dreary as the lead, and the rest of the cast were archetypes from the abusive boyfriend to the megalomaniacal boss.However, Eggsy is killed after unwittingly activating a trap, leading Mindy to escape with one of the suits into the past, ending up on prehistoric Earth, before catching a ride back to the present with the galactic empire that used to rule the planet, and escaping to the more-recent past to save Eggsy's life, along with her slightly-younger self, all the world's superheroes, and Eggsy's long-dead Uncle Jack. Even though the broad strokes are all there, Kingsman is a very loose adaptation, with dozens of changes to the source material.

The Secret Service maintains many key traits of Millar's writing including heavy violence, an astute wit and excellent pacing. Gary London is recruited by his uncle, Caractacus "Jack" London, to work for Kingsman, the British Secret Service. The Kingsman film franchise is based on the comic series of the same name, which began with the 2012 comic book The Secret Service. Though there are definite differences between the two, both the comic and the movie of Kingsman tell a lively and engaging story.Mark has been an Executive Producer on all his movie adaptations and is currently creative consultant to Fox Studios on their Marvel slate of movies. Unlike the films, the game does not have graphic violence or explicit language, but it is classified a "12+" rating for "mild realistic violence". Mark Hamill was cast as Professor James Arnold, a reference to his character in the source comic book being himself. I wanted to pick this up because the trailer for the movie looked interesting and I've enjoyed some of other Mark Millars other works. Even his clothes in the seduction mission have been carefully chosen rather than worn as a mistaken attempt at dressing up.
